Mezzanine relocation and reconfiguration in Rutland
We provide mezzanine relocation throughout Rutland, from Oakham to Oakham, for warehouses, factories, shops and industrial units. Mezzanine relocation means dismantling an existing bolted steel mezzanine, moving it and re-erecting it in a new building or a new layout, adding or removing bays as needed.
Mezzanine relocation for Rutland businesses
Oakham has older industrial buildings and mills where a mezzanine has to work around existing columns, varying floor levels and slabs of unknown thickness, so a careful slab check comes first.
Typical work we price in Rutland includes mezzanines in older industrial buildings. Rutland is in the East Midlands, around 50 miles from our Birmingham base on average.

Questions people ask
Do you cover all of Rutland?
Yes. We provide mezzanine relocation across Rutland, including Oakham, and nearby areas such as Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Cambridgeshire.
Can an older building in Oakham take a mezzanine?
Often, yes, but we check the slab and existing structure first, with cores or load tests if records are missing.
Can you change the size when you move it?
Yes. Bays can be added or removed, and new steel matched to the existing system.
Does a relocated mezzanine need Building Regulations approval?
Yes. It is treated as new work in its new location, and may need fire protection, stairs or guarding that the original did not have.
