How we approach mezzanine fit-out
A new mezzanine casts a shadow over the floor beneath it, so lighting under the deck is usually needed even for storage. We plan LED lighting, emergency lighting and switching for both levels, and route cable containment along the steel rather than across it.
For offices and welfare we fit metal stud or demountable partitions, glazed screens, doors, suspended ceilings and floor finishes. Where the mezzanine is fire protected we make sure every penetration through the fire-rated ceiling is properly sealed.
Heating, cooling and ventilation are coordinated with your M&E contractor or ours, so the services fit the ceiling void and the fire strategy.

Do I need lighting under a mezzanine?
Usually, yes. The deck blocks light from the roof, so the area below needs its own lighting, plus emergency lighting on escape routes.
